What -- I prompted you to move to MesNews? That's an odd reaction to my Xnews releases page.
Just experimenting.
Your impressions?
Hang on, impressions of Xnews or MesNews?
I have been using MesNews since Dialog stopped working for me and am quite favourably impressed. I don't think it will appeal to people using slrn, though, since it is not as configurable.
For me it is fine for it does the job (I only follow text groups),supports multiple servers, looks more or less ok and has never crashed so far.
But I will go on experimenting, looking for the perfect reader. Slrn is too difficult for me, hence my trying Xnews which however seems to be of particular use for the binaries crowd.
