Re: President Palin

You got nothing. You're just a squealing pig. You can't even read the
actual facts and comment on them, have to delete the article on
American Thinker. What a pathetic waste of protoplasm you are. You
lose, I win, get ready for 2010, I look forward to your coronary.

Harry Truman was _way_ down in polls, but he wasn't a perceived buffoon
like Quayle or Caribou Barbie.

And his standing in the polls didn't have to do with perceived
imbecility, but rather with the unforgivable offenses --to some-- like
racially integrating the armed forces. The southern wing of the
Democratic Party walked out of the convention --and the election-- after
the party included a civil rights plank in its platform. Again, nothing
to do with a goofiness on the part of Truman.

Then the left wing of the Democratic Party went marching off to follow
Wallace. . . But that wasn't because anyone thought Truman was a clown.

What no one noticed in the ?48 election was when Truman went
campaigning, he attracted huge crowds, who voted for him.

That Thing From Alaska is dead as a political candidate for national
office. History proves it.
