Okay, you peeps think whatever you want. What I think is that your
post was so twistily written that I wasn't sure that I'd gotten your

You do have a history of not *getting* points, boots. It's sort of your
thing. And when peeps don't get *your* points, you blame the reader,
rather than the writer. That's your thing too.

I'm seeing a pattern here.

You go ahead and see whatever you choose, PJ. If you find your ass
hanging out, blame the other guy for having the audacity to look.

When I was writing technical manuals for a living it was drummed into
us that whenever the reader doesn't get it, that's the writer's fault
end-of-story. Having been the subject of dozens of tear-your-guts-out
formal document reviews, I came to accept that as a working premise
whether it's true or not.

You weren't writing anything truly demanding, you were writing a
"simple" newsgroup post. Even the slowest among your readership
should have no problem getting it, they should not have to stumble
over clumsiness you could have readily avoided had you cared to.

You write books for children PJ, why is it that when you post your
writing is less clear? Do you really *need* opportunities to form bad
habits?

Holy shit. Go re-read the crap you just wrote, boots, then ask yourself
where you find the audacity to criticize anyone's writing.

It's a shame your tiny cop brain can only focus on one idea at a time,
unfortunately I'm unwilling to write "Dick And Jane" just for you
loot.
