Years ago my daughter developed warts on her fingers and the doctor froze
them off with cryotherapy -- an apt word because that little girl sure
cried, saying "It hurts a bunch, Mommy." Broke my heart, it did.
Now I find out that there's a method known as duct tape therapy that,
according to a few studies, is more effective than cryotherapy. You cut a
piece of duct tape to fit over the warts, leave it on for 6 days, remove
it, soak your fingers, toes, feet, wherever the warts are, then use a
pumice stone to scrape at them. Leave the tape off for one night, then the
next day repeat the process over again. The warts should disappear in 1 to
2 months.
The things I learn.

Compound W does it in two weeks. Costs about $3 at Kroger pharmacy.
Duct tape costs about the same.
