Re: Girl Bullies like Sylvia Tucker and Paula Light

Can't handle? Seems I'm here.

How does it feel to be part of a jeering crowd of people who can't sell
their writing?

Terrifying to think of your failures, isn't it?

Oh, poor Skippy's feeling bullied again, and by "girls." Tee hee.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for a 50+ year old, allegedly
successful Hollywood writer who can't handle getting mocked on a
newsgroup where he constantly mocks others? What's funny is that I
seem to be the only one around here right now "bullying" him. Yep,
that's right, it's just UV and Skip, but Skip's feeling all scared
and threatened by a "girl" who "can't sell her writing."

Funny stuff.

Girl Bullies

Of the teens that enjoy ganging up on victims (girls and boys
alike), many have similar psychological issues. However, there is
definitely not a one-size-fits-all parameter in which all children
fit. Generally speaking some of the following factors may come
into play:

* Abuse at home
* Lack of attention at home
* Insecure

* Boredom
* High intelligence/failure to be challenged

Okay, I'll cop to the above two. :)

* Thrill of power
* Fear of abandonment

Along with the leader of the gang, is a group of by-standers.
Those that are grateful not to be the victim, but too scared not
to stand up for her. They go along to get along (with the
ring-leader).

I wish one of them would get me a cafe mocha. ~bullying glare at
bystanders~
