Being a Canadian, I have no voice in what happens in the USA, but,
what ever happens, in the USA I must live with the consequences to my
country and the rest of the world.

Should I just shut up and take it?

Absolutely. You really have no choice. Move to the USA. Become a
citizen. Vote. Change the world because you matter.

Does that mean that only the USA matters?

Did I say that? No. I simply gave you a guidebook for making a
difference in the USA. It's hard enough for Americans to make
changes in the USA. As a Canadian, you have far greater obstacles.

My observation that you, not the USA, matter when you are a citizen
was in reference to the fact that Canadians don't normally influence
things in the USA. You influence things in Canada. Right?

When you have a problem with your government, writing here on MW
makes them change it. Right? It makes the politicians squirm. Right?
It causes them to realize how mistaken they are. Right? You change
laws by complaining about them here. Right? You alter the future of
Canada by posting here. Right?
