I once read that every drop of water coming down the Mississippi goes
through forty urethras before it reaches the Gulf. That alone should
damp the effects of the flood. Until it comes time to pump bladder,
that is.
I crossed the Mississippi yesterday at St. Louis and can attest that
it's still there (1).

Forty of 'em, eh? That's a good statistic. Makes me want to move way
up stream.
