Very fascistic behavior toward them.

Do you think that's true? I don't.

Well, it's not just an opinion. I've taught in several colleges, I'm
currently writing several chapters for a science book, and I saw the
Stein documentary. It's real, it's documented, and it's ongoing. I
wasn't simply making an emotional statement.

At Wheaton College in Illinois, new biology instructors and professors
have to sign a statement that they believe in Special Creation and
won't teach evolution. Thereafter, they ignore it. That may have
changed since I left, given the new power of creationist wingnuts.

I'd say that's isolated. Hillsdale College and Christian universities
wouldn't have the kind of prejudice I'm talking about. The point of the
documentary is about the majority of institutions of "higher learning."

I particularly liked watching Ben Stein taking Dork Dawkins apart and
when Dawkins said life on Earth could've come from panspermia.
Chortle.

Neither of them can rule it out. Neither can you, no matter how goofy
it is. I'm sure the real explanation is much simpler.

Well, Stanley Miller tried to prove "just happened" was true and came
up with some proteins but not all 252 necessary for DNA. Two other
profs years later did a much better job, but the percentages of it ever
happening by chance are infitesimally low.

The point of the documentary is that the "ruling powers" of science
will try to squelch anyone who challenges strict Darwinism, which is
kinda nuts, given that Darwin himself was apparently not an atheist. It
also takes up the very real fact that the Nazis used Darwin as an
excuse for eugenics and mass murder of Jews, gays, cripples, mentally
ill people, etc.

It's a movie people should see.
