You are right on the mark here. The Undiscovery Institute people are
worse than a pack of Scientology lawyers and are better financed and
politically connected that the Scamatology frauds. Looks like they
learned a lot from them.
From the Scientology v. Education website:

Really, the schools I went to in the 1950s were full of teachers who
had no chance whatsoever of hacking it in industry, and the schools
resistkids went to in the 1980s were full of teachers who had no chance
whatsoever of hacking it in industry, so why all of a sudden should
anybody with half a clue work as a teacher, for the ridiculous pay?
For the good feeling that comes from surviving a workday without
getting knifed or shot because parents aren't allowed to discipline
their children since we've entered the age of Disney? Because they
can feel superior since they're working alongside a bunch of even
worse retards than themselves?
Dress your kids in kevlar every morning, send 'em off to the "real"
world and let the teachers do their worst. If your kids can't
they'reindoctination by the time they're old enough for pubic school,
doomed anyway.
Thank you for that, Boots.
Whether you're being serious or sarcastic or whatever, you're welcome.
I expect your kids are quite capable of resisting indoctrination.
Very few children can 'resist' a poor education.
Aw for pete's sake, Jackson! You're serious, aintcha.
When I started school the term "kindergarten" was almost unknown, we
started in the first grade. I already knew how to read and write and
do basic math, and they give out textbooks that you can sit there and
read while the teacher is busy being boring.
The person who is *taught* how to think, rather than learning it for
himself, is extremely rare. The person who knows how to learn for
himself doesn't need to be "educated" so much as to be unrestrained
and have some "normal" social contact and access to even the lamest of
libraries.
How old are you, Jackson? Are you part of the "do it for me"
generation? Goodness.
Well take heart Jackson, once the creationists and the intelligent
designists and them-all finish causing the world to collapse to its
very foundations, there will be plenty of jobs for rebuilders.

"When I started school the term "kindergarten" was almost unknown, we

I will bet that the first seven years of your life were pretty care
free and you learned as much from play as anything else. That was a
good way to do it back then. But that was then, and this is now and
the reality is different.
Most churches have some sort of day-care, pre-school, JK an K program.
Parents put them there because they assume their kids are safe in that
environment. The kids are in a structured learning environment and
must respect those who are in charge. Even play is structured to
produce certain outcomes. That's where it all starts, boots, the
kids go through indoctrination by professionals from the time they can
walk basically. They can do nothing about it and no differing ideas
are presented. By first grade they have creationism well entrenched in
their minds, by first grade many of them will never be able to think
clearly again..
