You are right on the mark here. The Undiscovery Institute people are
worse than a pack of Scientology lawyers and are better financed and
politically connected that the Scamatology frauds. Looks like they
learned a lot from them.

From the Scientology v. Education website:

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Class yields a surprise subject

From the article-

?Study Technology has its defenders, and they adamantly deny trying
to
promote a religion in the classroom. UW-Fond du Lac officials, for
the
record, say they?re comfortable with the summer enrichment offering.

Abler declined Thursday to identify her religious background and
said
she never tried to promote Scientology in the classroom.

?I?m teaching a study skills class - it?s a totally secular class,?
Abler said, adding that she welcomed calls and visits from parents.?

If this frickin' planet gets any more ludicrous I'm gonna become
worried that some geenyus might lock me up and medicate me for
hebephrenia.

Really, the schools I went to in the 1950s were full of teachers who
had no chance whatsoever of hacking it in industry, and the schools
my
kids went to in the 1980s were full of teachers who had no chance
whatsoever of hacking it in industry, so why all of a sudden should
anybody with half a clue work as a teacher, for the ridiculous pay?
For the good feeling that comes from surviving a workday without
getting knifed or shot because parents aren't allowed to discipline
their children since we've entered the age of Disney? Because they
can feel superior since they're working alongside a bunch of even
worse retards than themselves?

Dress your kids in kevlar every morning, send 'em off to the "real"
world and let the teachers do their worst. If your kids can't
resist
indoctination by the time they're old enough for pubic school,
they're
doomed anyway.

Thank you for that, Boots.

Whether you're being serious or sarcastic or whatever, you're welcome.
I expect your kids are quite capable of resisting indoctrination.

Very few children can 'resist' a poor education.
