Now people have no excuse for blaming McDonalds if they Supersize too
many times and get fat.

Rent a copy of "Super Size Me" and watch it today.

"Super Size Me is an Academy Award-nominated 2004 documentary film
written, produced, directed by and starring Morgan Spurlock, an American
independent filmmaker. Spurlock's film follows a 30-day time period
(February 2003) during which he subsists entirely on food and items
purchased exclusively from McDonald's, and the film documents this
lifestyle's drastic effects on Spurlock's physical and psychological
well-being and explores the fast food industry's corporate influence,
including how it encourages poor nutrition for its own profit. [...]

Thanks -- I've been meaning to rent that ever since Jeff recommended it to
me, and I'll definitely do it now. I still believe that the crux of the
blame for bad nutrition and overeating lies with people themselves, though,
and not with the restaurants, or even advertising. I've heard the media
being blamed because the ads target children, but parents have -- or
*should* have -- the ability to make sure their kids have healthy diets and
places like McDonalds are just a once in a while treat, no matter what they
see on TV. My daughter, who has two children ages 6 and 9, manages just
fine, and I know many others who do as well. But I do want to see that
movie, and will.

Speaking of that 6-year-old and 9-year-old, they're coming tonight to spend
the weekend with Gammy. I love it so much when they're here, and we have so
much fun ... but by Sunday around 1 p.m. or so, I'll be dragging. <g>
