Onion Soup for dinner. Need to start the beef broth prep.

Onion soup was delish. Old bread at the bottom of the bowl -- some Acme Sour Batard that we'd sliced and buttered and garlic'd and parmesan'd when friends were over for dinner a bit ago. (Sour batard w/garlic, filet mignon, salad ... for dinner. We are hostest with the mostest.)

So. Leftover sour batard garlic whatever sliced up and at the bottom of the dish. Onions (red and yellow) grilled up with olive oil -- tossed into beef bou spread on top of the bread. Italian mountain cheese sliced over the top. Grilled.

Turned out nice.

Tasty.

Served with a simple mixed green salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Croutons.
