Sylvia's not appearing as a witness. She's a prosecuting attorney, and her
evidence is YOUR OWN TESTIMONY.

That doesn't make Ray innocent of every charge of puffery, error, or
trolling, but it does make Sylvia guilty of the very "crime,"
dishonesty, with which she's charged Ray -- something which one can't
say of Sal Towse, John Ashby, and the others who have concerned
themselves with the actual evidence.

In fact, the actualities of this case were decided to a reasonable
degree of probability long ago: some barstool blarney, a core of
truth, the usual Rayish trolling. In Sylvia's case, the troll's
disregard for the truth and classically manic behavior that, if not
psychotic (I've seen no evidence of depression, so it doesn't seem to
be bipolar disorder), merits diagnosis and perhaps treatment by a
mental health professional.
