By definition, I would say that those who actually are persecuted
are not paranoid. In paranoia, as in libel, truth is an absolute
defense.
Is it, though? I mean, a paranoiac might conclude that Joe was out to
get him in the absence of evidence -- but Joe might be out to get him.
Sort of like the stuck clock being right twice a day.
