Not you, you puppy. I'm not too good at instant comparative
chronologicalizationing. Ask Donna. Well, no, she's probably
a seething couldron of repressed rage as we speak. Lovely as
ever despite that, obviously. Bright eyes, shiny hair, hardly any
wrinkles yet. Much the same as your dad, I shouldn't wonder.

I was 23 for most of 1967. Listened to Sgt Pepper a lot IIRC.
Bought a huge bong off this G.I. on Eel Pie Island who kept a
picture of his mom in a heart shaped locket with "MOM" on it.
He worked at the Lakenheath PX. He sold us Stax and Tamla
Motown 45s. He wore Ts with Make Love Not War on them
to compensate for the crew cut and haunted eyes. He went out
to the war eventually and another one became our contact. We
had quite a turnover, and they got older as the young dudes got
killed. Your dad will remember the TV pictures. The firestorms,
the body bags in neat lines. I often wondered, you know . . ..
