Whoop!

It completely boggles my mind how eager some people are to become
known as global warming "skeptics". Common sense should tell you that
there is a 50% chance the earth will become warmer over coming
decades, even if all the global warming hysteria is for nothing. So
don't get in front of that steamroller! Besides which, victory will be
declared no matter what happens. Because it's climate change, whatever
happens.

Unboggle your mind, Pie. I agree with you on the 50% figure.

I've never had a particular prollem with the idea that the planet is
getting warmer because it has done that systematically for eons. My
objection is the hysteria associated with it;and moreso, the idea that
mankind is causing it this time around.

If the planet warms up and melts the ice, water will spread across
greater areas of land. That will mean more evaporation. More
evaporation means more clouds and moisture. More clouds means less
sunshine hitting the surface. Less sunshine hitting the surface means
a cooler planet. And so, the cycle continues. The downside will be
that NOLA will flood again and prolly much of NY City.

The upside will be that NOLA will flood again and prolly much of NY
City.

Venice and Amsterdam will get a much needed douching.

Please. You are using the wrong term and So is Pies.

Extraordinarily warm winters like you are experiencing now are
commonly referred to as Algore's Global Warming(sm). How could he in
good conscience collect the accolades for hearing mother earth's
attenuated plea for help otherwise?

Had he not rallied the faithful, little people just might start living
in Greenland and there might be vinyards in England. (It's suspected
that the Vikings drove SUVs during the previous global warming
episode. They had no clarion call of an Algore).

Al Gore. He also invented the internet and graciousness.

WWAGD?

PS - Leonardo Di Caprio says that you should unplug your cellphone
charger when not in use in order to halt global warming. www.globalcool.com
- Other Hollywood stars weigh in, too.

Thank you LDC, thank you.

Whoops. Here's another link:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007050028,00.html

Where Hollywood actors such as the brilliant Josh Hartnet share the
truth and insight of Algorism.

Or alternately, hyphenate global-cool. Do it now. Time is running
out!
