Blue is girly. Left handed fountain pens are a waste of money.
Find the sweet spot on a Medium gold nib - use plain bond
paper, just a couple of sheets on a desktop so you have a hard
surface. Draw lines of spirals and squiggles, in other words
pretend to write quickly, and you'll feel the nib settling into your
hand. Ballpoints are useful, sure. I have gel refills in mine.

I prefer my gel in my hair, my full head of ravening locks. I don't
mean ravening, do I, though it's such a lovely word. I know you're a
Number Three, but I'm heading off towards Cavalier country these days.
My tresses are lapping like the waters of Lethe at my shirt-collar, if
we imagine I'm wearing a shirt.
