He is trying to make a good job of it. We have before now discussed
your belief that those you consider inferiors must be condescended to
so that they do not overwhelm themselves with notions of progress that
they cannot achieve. I do not share that belief and I think that a
high-school student should be encouraged to take a professional
approach to something like this.
