As crazy as this is going to sound...it WORKS. I have an older aunt who
loves to write letters but has arthritus and has trouble "moving her
hand across the paper" as you said. You need an old computer mouse that
doesn't work anymore. Cut the cord from it. Then, using a large piece
of foam board (walmart craft dept)...cut the faom to the shape of the
top of the mouse and super glue it in place. Then, when you write, rest
your hand on the mouse...and the mouse will help your hand "glide" over
the paper! Hope this idea helps.
