And another thing, Christine. I posted a comment to Harry Shearer's
blog because I could. And I got a reply.
Here's a sneak peek at a short excerpt from my second comment, which
hasn't cleared Huffington's moderation staff yet.

I'm not affiliated with Television Critics of America. My initials
are TCA.

That's all of the excerpt.
I think I'll start composing my third comment right now. ;-)
I liked Brad Pitt in 12 Monkeys and Fight Club, but he's just one
actor. CNN followed musician Harry Connick, Jr. around NOLA in the
immediate aftermath of Katrina and Rita. He's a native. He behaved
like a real man, selflessly searching for survivors without
hesitation.
You know, I'm really not interested in blogging to help the Democrats
get elected. However, I do have some free advice for 'em. All of
their efforts should be directed towards this November. Let 2008 take
care of itself.
I don't think that a war in Lebanon will distract the voters at all.
It's my opinion that '06 will be a bad year for incumbents No Matter
What. The only reason why the Democrats will gain is because there
are fewer of 'em in Congress today.
This election will be about corruption and incompetence. It will be
about groups that shouldn't be trifled with getting screwed... Like
senior citizens. Like the U.S. citizens in New Orleans, an American
city. Like the National Guard serving multiple tours in Iraq.
Everyone has watched the price of gas at the pump soar while Big Oil
reaps record profits.
The U.S. military plans to end its $15 billion sweetheart contract
with Halliburton.

I wonder why?
