Virgin have just told me I'm getting more speed, 1 Mbps extra.
I mentioned this to Herself on the blower, and she said she
got her email a week ago, didn't she say, she was expecting to
be speeded up any day now. Well, I was a little put out she
hadn't though to mention it, but there you go. Thing is, Andrew,
my personal geek, is away on his hols at the moment or I'd
ask him. I have no idea what this increase in speed will mean for
my day to day er computing when it kicks in in a couple of
days. I do a lot of emailing, bit of banking, use eBay Motors
a fair bit, check the sport at Ananova, mess about here,
the usual. What I want to know is - how will this extra speed
make itself apparent? And should I wear a crash helmet?

You might save a small amount on the liquor bill, since less patience
will be required. The crash helmet is usually only of value when one
wishes to bang one's head against some hard object while waiting for a
slow-assed connection to do its slow-assed thing, so you can probably
reserve the crash helmet exclusively for the scooter.

Aah, a cordial post. How sweet. Have you finally accepted
that you want to be one of my pals, Bootsie? C'mere ya
big lug NO NO Bootsie, not hugs, I don't do hugs. A manly
handshake does it, there you go. I don't drink, btw, and
watch it with the scooter references as well.
