Lady Chatterley Slover

Over the years I've read and re-read this great work,
and as the years went by and Playboy came along,
enjoyed it all the more for its lyrical beauty, Chatterley,
the upper class slag. It drew me in to a world that
I could never understand, never quite get to grips with,
the garden. These days I have a garden of my own,
and a gardenkeeper, Dave Mellor, whom I employ per
diem. I always make sure I'm watching when Dave
comes, especially on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
when our Mrs Mop is here, what with my back. Yes,
I think I can say that the book has given me an insight my
middle class upbringing denied me. Looking up to her,
Chatty, a Lady, and looking down on him, Dave, the dirty
fingered man of the soil. My eyes were opened forever,
thanks to the timely arrival of this important book, by D.H.L.
I highly recommend the overnight parcel service.
