Poor Tess. Despite being practically talentless, she can get just
about any *** she writes published. What agony!

Plus she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford

So fucking what? I know plenty of academics who can't write. I edit
them every day.

Sure. I was just mentioning that she's practically talentless and the
proof of that pudding was that she was Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford.

How does that make you a talented writer? Are you trolling me? Or have
you slipped gears down to fuckwit?

plus she has a medical degree from UCSF

Which is guaranteed to have made her a good writer.

What it guarantees is that she's not writing hoping to make buckets of
money. She has other ways of making buckets of money.

What the *** does that have to do with the price of tea? I don't
recall mentioning money.

plus, after retiring from her doctoring once her
writings started hitting the best seller lists, she now just sits around
and eats bon bons and writes.

The problem is, Sal, there are too many people like you in publishing.

No. The problem is that some ahem. people who won't ahem. have fingers
pointed at them don't give someone who has a degree from Stanford and a
medical degree and years spent writing any credit for being able to
write something that people are willing to buy.

Degrees from where have you are of no fucking account in whether you
can write. That you think you are is *exactly* why I say there are too
many people like you in publishing.

It's all "she can get just about any *** she writes published."

Which is true. Her whinging about writing her book would be more
poignant if that weren't true.

Poor dear.

How's that book of yours coming?

Anything I write -- the least short story, a poem, my musings about my
children -- exhibits more ability than Tess Gerritsen's entire output.
