You are full of commie poop. BLM must approve exploration activity on
federal lands. Exploration acitivty involves sinking test wells,
radiographic test ( X-ray and Gamma ray), explosive seismic measurement, and
electronic measurements. Try going on someone's property drilling holes and
setting off underground explosions and let me know which jail you wind up
sitting in.

There are zero industry experts buying into the Democrat claim on this. Oil
leases always are larger than the well sites, that land not used as a well
is being counted as land oil companies are keeping out of production. The
Dems, and I posted a link to the Dem that came up with the number, are
taking the average energy production at producing sites, applying that
average to non-productive sites, and coming up with phantom oil they say
must be underground. Buying a permit means you intend to produce, if you
are producing from more productive areas first it doesn't mean you won't
produce later at a permit site.

This is what is so dishonest about Democrats. They do everything they can
for decades to make energy production more and more difficult, more and more
expensive, and then hop up and down that "mean old oil companies aren't
producing oil everytwhere." The fact is the Democrats have made everything
related to energy production so difficult for so long that they have driven
large chunks of the energy infrastructure overseas. You want a nuclear
reactor? Better get in line in Japan at the nearest foundry still making
vessels for nuclear reactors, aint none in the US. Need 40 oil derricks,
better get your name on the waiting list, it's gonna be forever to get one.
Then the liberal media parrots the commie-lib song without challenge and
every day for decades and poof the people casuing the problem, the people
telling everyone how high energy prices would be good for us, the people
suing everyone to stop any project in case it might disturb the sleep of the
crosseyed dipwad, those are the people denying they have anything to do with
hig energy prices.

When the commie-libs claim there are 68 million acres of land leased to
the oil companies that they choose not to produce oil from they are
lying. The commie-libs are taking the amount of all federal land,
finding how much energy is produced and assuming every acre of federal
land will produce the same amount of energy as the energy producing land.
That would be like a company with salesmen taking the success rate of
their top salesmen, applying it to all salesmen, and then claiming since
the company revenue was less than this imaginary sales volume someone is
stealing from the company.

It's not a coincidence that the people who avoid business, have not
worked in business, and who lie for a living didn't quite get around to
telling the truth again. Where are all the non-profit oil companies and
gas stations the liberals could run if they knew what they were talking
about?

The truth is oil companies have to lease the land first before they know
if the lease will produce energy. They spend their money exploring the
lease. If they find economic amounts of oil they then produce it and pay
the landowner a prtion of that oil. By the way every oil lease I ever
saw when I was in that business already included a "use it or lose it
provision." If you leased the mineral rights for land and didn't produce
oil within a short period the land owner was free to sell the lease to
another party. The Democrats are rtying to fool people by claiming they
will impose "use it or lose it" on oil leases. Next they will tell you
they will command the sun to rise every day even if the mean oil men
don't want it.

fact is, FIRST they explore--they need no permits to roam Federal
lands--even YOU can do so at your pleasure. AFTER confirming the likely
presence of oil, they lease the lands, confirm the extremely likely oil
fields, then and only then, get the permits. 68,000 acres already leased
and permitted.
The above website is so much hot air. My claim and that of Democrats is
still confirmed: the oil companies now hold 68,000 acres leased and
permitted that they are not touching. Does it contain, as some Democrats
and industry experts claim, up to 4.8 million barrels per day? or is the
true figure ten times more or a mere fraction of the above? Who know!
Well, no one, for certain. See, although lapdog scottie and his masters
whine they need even more land to drill, they haven't touched the 68,000
acres they valued enough to buy permits for.
