That's what Clinton said when he vetoed drilling in ANWR more than 10 years
ago. It's not a coincidence that the people that side with America's
enemies, and the people that want consumers to cut way back on everything,
are also the people that are suggesting we switch to silly little programs
that will be ruiniously expensive and provide little return for the effort.
Oh, by the way, if any of these liberal alternative shows promise of
providing abundant and cheap energy, the liberals will drop their support
for another more distant and more expensive alternative. Nuclear could
provide all the electrical energy of all our wildest dreams, and that is
precisely why the libs won't support it. They say the problem with nukes is
the "waste" but it was Jimmy Carter that signed the law outlawing the
reprocessing of nuclear fuel rods which would change the "waste" into more
nuke fuel.
The libs are nothing but sand in the engine of freedom.
