I am curious about how you lost the weight while driving? You mentioned the salads, just dieting?

I have a bit of weight I want to drop before I enroll in school, the BP is a little high. I find I really enjoy going to the gym daily but I am thinking that will be largely impossible OTR. Perhaps I can pack a jumprope in my bag...

I have two houses and a condo, the houses from a previous career and the condo from inheritance.

The houses are rented out, and I have a bedwench in the condo that pays expenses.

rent hotel rooms or just live out of your trucks.

For the most part, I prefer to stay in my truck.

I could stay in motels once or twice a month if I chose, but it's no big advantage to me.

I'm very comfortable in my truck.

Once I was in Alaska for a couple days, and I got a room over a bar. :-)

How many days off you take.

I take one day off a week, and anyone who says you can't, just wasn't smart enough or productive enough.

I take them two or three days at a time.

Unlike most guys, I take the majority of my days off on the road, pursuing my hobbies or sight seeing.

What you do about relationships with the females.

I have a little luck there.

I have chicks stashed here and there, mostly that I know online from the hobby of scuba diving.

Over the last ten years we've met and been diving together, which for some reason frequently leads to sex.(?)

I'm not sure why that is, but on reflection, don't really care...

I have regular access in Seattle, San Diego, Gatlinburg, Vermont, SLC, and several places in Florida.

Sometimes they have boyfriends, sometimes they don't.

I have two girlfriends that are truckers, that I run across randomly.

I don't "date" truck stop hookers.

I have nothing against what they do, it's just that they tend to be awful skanky.

I've been tempted once or twice to visit a legal house in Reno, mostly out of curiosity (I -assume- the chicks are hot), but the prices (generally about $100 for 15 minutes, plus tip, which would be X2 for my particular needs) are scary.

I'm just not a 15 minute guy.

Are there women out there that will accept a b/f with a truckers lifestyle?

One thing has nothing to do with another.

Lots of truckers are happily married, and lots aren't.

It has more to do with the individual.

Women that I date know I have no intention of getting married, and have several girl friends.

Some of them know each other from diving.

Two sets of my girlfriends are girlfriends.

The only place I don't have a girlfriend, and I'm working on it, is at my home terminal.

Also, I am curious about any of you that avoid restaurants, what kind of appliances you may have (cooler, oven etc.).

I have a cooler, and nothing else.

I eat a lot of food cold, though, and don't care.

I'm a big guy, and in the last couple years gained 70 pounds while trucking, and recently lost 50 of it, and still rolling.

You look at other fat guys and say "I bet that dude weighs 50 lbs less than me" and you get incentive.

What foods do you eat?

I eat salads and fresh stuff when I can, make a supermarket run once a week, and never pass a Joe's Crab Shack.

Unfortunately, I have a passion for stale, rock hard Flying J PBJs. :-)
