What exactly his the evidence that he can get his message across to people
who will listen? His speeches are as empty as the ballons falling from the
ceiling. He really goes out on a limb and says he wants people to come
together, big deal. Every politician wants people to come together in
exactly the same way as Obama, change your views and agree with me. That's
not courage. He makes empty speeches and he lets each listener make up the
real meaning for themself. By definition the people cheering those speeches
are the people most convinced already. He hasn't actually been in politics
long enough or shown any skill in getting support from opponets on difficult
issues. That's one reason why a history of accomplishment is better than a
speech when trying to decide which politician might get something important
done.

voters, already know what scum the rst of the candidates are. On one

I don't think that would happen. I could be wrong, but I think that Barack
Obama, to quote a line from a movie, could wrap a two turds in aluminum
foil, put them on hooks, and sell them to the Queen of England as
earrings.

The point being, that I do think he has a gift, in that he knows how to
get
the message across to people who will listen. Given he fact that it is
highly likely that the Democrats will win seats in both house this year, I
think he could be poised to get many of his proposals through, if he wins
the national election, because he could convince Republicans that it's the
right thing to do.
