Check out the Obama-related stories athttp://isteve.blogspot.com/, search
the web for Rev. Jeremiah Wright, or check out Shelby Steele's new book "A
Bound Man".
Obama has the inexperience of John Edwards, farther left policies than
Hillary, and the psychological hang-ups of Bill Clinton.

Having the Rev. Jeremiah Wright as a mentor for a presidential
candidate ought to scare everyone. Here is a man who is so anti-
everything "not black" that he has over and over again bitten the
hands of the people that have helped him. For instance, he is anti-
Zionist, however in the 60's it was the Jewish people who helped the
blacks have their badly needed voice. More than 50% of the freedom
riders were Jewish (were or are Jews 50% of the population?), more
than half the attorneys that defended the blacks in the South were
Jewish. The Rev. Jeremiah Wright has conveniently forgotten these
facts and it makes it appear that it was only blacks that won the
badly deserved changes in laws in the south - definitely NOT TRUE - a
great many white people realized the wrongs and worked to change
things - it wasn't just a "black" battle! When I hear him attacking
Jews, it doesn't take much imagination to wonder what he thinks of the
rest of us!
This is a very serious problem for me when considering whether to vote
for Obama or not. I do like the fact that he is probably the most
intelligent candidate we have for president right now, however, I'm
not exactly sure WHO or WHAT he represents. Who are his advisors,
other than Wright? He's keeping them fairly close to his chest right
now. I'd like to know who's doing the calculations for his "budget
plans". I'd like to know who he would choose to run the Fed. Who
would he choose to run State? He doesn't have any experience, so I
would hope that his advisors would and I would like to know who he'd
choose for these jobs.
The last thing we need in a president is a person who will bring up
old grievances or divide this country over race. When I hear people
like Rev. Wright talk, I wonder exactly WHAT it is that blacks want
that whites don't want? Why does he think blacks need more of this
country's resources than anyone else? I would think ALL of us care
about the economy, about helping those who can't help themselves,
about making decisions that keep this country strong. I can't imagine
that these are "black" or "white" issues, no matter what Rev. Wright
says.
I certainly would not vote for a candidate who would ignore blacks, I
certainly don't want a president who would ignore the rest of us
.
