He's a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine, complete with shady
land deals, slum land lords, and a race-baiting church that looks like a
Christian version of the Nation of Islam. He only looks fresh and new
because liberals' white-guilt stop them from looking too hard at a black
man, "that would be racist", andObama's talent of presenting himself as an
empty vessel in which blacks and whites can pretend he is either the
militant black man ready to set things right or the post-racial candidate
depending on who is the audience.
Check out the Obama-related stories at http://isteve.blogspot.com/, search
the web for Rev. Jeremiah Wright, or check out Shelby Steele's new book "A
Bound Man".
Obama has the inexperience of John Edwards, farther left policies than
Hillary, and the psychological hang-ups of Bill Clinton.

The North American Union and SPP are just convenient retreats for the same
crooks and kooks that were telling you to panic about Y2K.

I can't figure this out. Barack Obama cruised to a decisive victory
in South Carolina's presidential primary Saturday because of
overwhelming support from black voters.
Right ?
Then in his victory speech he declares " ... we have the most votes,
the most delegates and the most diverse coalition of Americans ... "
Huh ?
" You can see it in the faces here tonight, " citing the diverse crowd
of supporters of all races surrounding him.
Oh ... so after the win it's the " diverse crowd " of supporters.
Obama won an estimated 78 percent of the black vote, according to exit
polls, while Clinton got 19 percent and Edwards 2 percent.
Politicians ... I swear.
Chris
Don't sell the man short.
While it may be a fact that he drew the majority of the black vote, he's
also the only black candidate in history to draw double digits of white
voters as well. A figure I read last night estimated that 24% of whites
voted for the man, rather remarkable for a southern state.
I like the man. I like the fact that he is not tainted. I don't agree
with all of his politics, but I find myself more often than not,
interested in listening to what he has to say. He's a good speaker. That
may make him to be a master bullshitter, or it may make him a man who is
honest in his beliefs.
Hillary on the other hand, makes my skin crawl. I feel dirty whenever I
hear her voice, and I have this sudden need for a shower. Fox just ran a
live clip as I am typing this, of her speaking in a black church in
Memphis, and of course her topic was about Martin Luther King Jr....what
a surprise.
By February 5th, we should have some idea how well he appeals to most of
America. Hillary thought she had this thing sewed up, and if one thing
is now true, it's that she is horribly mistaken.
And if Bill doesn't zip it...his mouth that is...he's going to derail
her chances even more. All of their old tricks are backfiring on them,
which is encouraging in my opinion.
I think most of America has had it with both the Bush's and the
Clinton's.
A breath of fresh air is long overdue, and this man may well provide it,
for the better of for the worse, as it may be viewed.
