Take a very close look at the e-mail address used by the above poster, and
then if you look at the news: line that follows, you will see it ends with
googlegroups.com.

That means it is a valid e-mail address, but it is not my e-mail address
because I don't even have a gmail address yet.

Then if you really want to get down to the nitty gritty, check out the IP
address on the post you replied to.
