He can't back that up because it's a lie.

There is a scenario where it'd work:
big business demands that radio stations cancel their biggest audience draw.
Ratings for the station go down, as do advertising rates.
Big Business can then buy the advertising for less than they were before
Fewer will hear it, but that's immaterial, because advertising costs are
lower.

Ain't it grand? :-)

The story he is telling is........the radio stations dropped their most
listened to programs and kept the lesser listened to programs.
The higher the rating a show gets, the more it can charge for advertising
so
he is saying they removed the shows that produced the MOST revenue.
YEA, RIGHT !!!
The truth is...NO ONE listens to left wing talk radio.

I know a couple of folks who do - I mean besides gringo.

It's ratings prove that.
Air America started broadcasting on March of 2004 and went bankrupt on
October of 2006.........because (according to gringo) they had TOO MANY
listeners.
