I was tailgated today by a semi-trailer driven by a Red Carpet
Transport cab. The driver made several turns and lane changes without
signals, ended up behind me about a half-car length and was driving
10-15 k's above the speed limit.
When I called Red Carpet head office in Edmonton at 780-469-0131 to
report the driver, the dispacher argued with my facts, could not be
bothered to take details so he could identify the driver and otherwise
seemed completely unconcerned with safety and courtesy.
I recommend you avoid this company.
Most all companies are concerned about safety...at least their safety
department is. Drivers and dispatchers are more concerned with
getting the load delivered on time. Next time complain to the safety
department.
