You know, I am on the fence about this one....

Lets say you're driving around looking for this place dispatch swore you
couldn't miss, so you're going slow through the streets as safely as
possible....there is a car behind you and has been for a little bit....you
go on through the light while green and it turns red in time for the car
behind you...he runs it and gets slammed by another truck and gets
killed...are you at fault?

He didn't cause the choppers to crash, they were sent there and operated
by
other people. He was the reason they were there but would we be asking
this
if the choppers crashed covering the Super Bowl? What if you, lets say,
were stupid rich and wanted the very best wedding you could buy for your
daughter, so you go out and hire 2 choppers for photos and they
crash...who's fault?

In the above video, near the end a woman says, "Craig Smith used to fly with
a dog named Molly" so I wonder if that means Molly went down too and there
will be rules against taking pets on a news chopper.
