They're absolutely right !! Our safety standards are waaay tooo high.
Mexicans have existed on non-existant safety standards and done quite
well. Running recaps on steering axle is practiced in every 3rd-world
nation, so why can't we adopt their ways? To appease the Mexicans, we
should have every DOT inspection scale closed for good. We signed
NAFTA; now we're committed to letting them show us how to do trucking
the 3rd-nation way.
