Boy you sure have an obsession Dave. The last invasion was 140 years ago
between an Irish indepence group & the British. Things are a little
different now, although invading Canada to protect our country would be
acceptable it just isn't going to happen.

It is not an obsession, just pointing out that there is only one country
from
which we have had to defend ourselves in the past. We have been part of
NORAD
for years, and the only reason that the US pumped money into the air
defence
system in the north is because it was the route the soviets were likely to
take
to get at the US.


That's your usual partisan angst inaccuracy.

If we can defend your northern border, we can certainly defend our own.

We pushed the northern defense boundary out so that everything we shot
down (with a high probability of being nuclear) wouldn't land in populated
Canadian territory.
