Since a lot companies began charging detention after 2 hours they've
gotten a whole lot better at scheduling. A few years ago they were
using idling trucks as an extension of their warehouse storage, fer
free.

Yup - I had a 5 am appt at Laurel Grocers in London,KY a few years back.
Part of their driveway was being expanded so only 3 of the handful of docks
for outside trucks could be reached. 15 hours later I had the load delivered
and was out of there. 'Never went back.
