I would like to know how much to charge to was a semi- tractor, and to

$5 sounds like a reasonable rate. Commercial rate ranges from $25 to $35
or so for tractor; another $25-30 for trailer. For those rates, though,
driver will expect a first class job. In the case of company drivers,
most cannot wash whenever/wherever they wish. To get big fleet business,
you will need to contact the home offices, and be willin' to give a
tremendous discount.

Then of course you have the EPA to worry about-- you may be prohibited
from dumping the wash water into the drains.
Refrig. trucks would also be a big repeat customer for you....
You don't pull into a meat plant with a trailer looking like a sewer.
You would need to address blood and tallow off the meat trucks. In your EPA
concerns.
Many areas like Boston prefer whole cows for thier meat markets.
So you load up in Hereford,Texas drive like you got a water truck with
nobuffers.
Road vibration will have you dumping a 3 to 4 inch layer of tallow on the
trailer floor
by the time you get to Boston. You can't just whip over to the next load
without cleaning the trailer out.
I have paid more to clean one with that much of a mess....
Cleaning prices tends to be like lumpers, depends on where you
are,also.....

Might add ...it would not hurt if you knew how to remove sense.
If you hauled garlic or something with a strong aromia....you need to have
your trailer vented down before you roll into a chocolate factory.
Chocolate is usually refrigerated at about 50F.......many items like bananas
will
actually take on the taste of the strong aroma item.
