I have also considered an mp3 player. I burn all my music files on to
mp3 discs and my daughter gave me her CD/mp3 disc player but I rarely
use it. So far I have found pretty much everything I want to listen to
on sat. radio.
For me, any kind of radio station is too much of a drag.
I only like one or two songs per group or artist, although I do
like -most- comedy, and admired sat radio for the comedy channels.
75% of what I hear on public stations in a day would rate with elevator
music.
Morning talk shows are enough to put me on the roof with a rifle.
Plus books on CD are a daily event with me, and the mp3 player precludes
swapping the discs while driving.
Some might admire that the mp3 player is portable, but mine never leaves
the truck.
