I'm looking for some heater help. Are the little ceramic heaters you get at truck stops worth buying? Will they really heat up the cab? I have a 400W inverter. Are there any other heaters this inverter would power? It's getting pretty cold and don't like idling all night. TIA.
Get yourself a good sleeping bag and you will be fine and not have to worry about wearing down your batteries. After all, when it is cold you want all the cranking power.
Yes it will be chilly when you get up in the morning; however, you can start the truck up then jump back into the bag until the truck warms up a bit.
You can also try another trick to keep it from getting too cold, light a couple of candles and leave them burning... but do place them in a safe location and container.
