Hey, Roger, I think you'll like it. Once you haul food-grade you are
kind of spoiled. :) Ron hauled food-grade for years and hauled some
milk here and there at Prime. I still can't remember where he hauled
it out of.....I remember it was on Jackrabbit Road! I think Arizona.
Anyway, I grew up on the farm and worked feedlots all the time as a vet
tech in the midwest so the smell/flies didn't bother me. I recall Ron
commenting on it though. :) He'd hate it if I went back to work
working cattle, huh? :)
As far as "re-learning" to drive/shift to prevent the surge of a
straight bore tank you'll be fine. There is good incentive! A couple
slaps in the back and a couple scary predicaments you will learn. It's
all in the shifting. And keeping yourself out of bad situations. Kind
of comparable to a load of cattle.
Good luck! I say go for it......you will like food grade tanks.
