Cabover Question

I have a question that has been bugging me for a while. For those of you who
drive (or who have had experience with) cabovers, how do you secure your
belongings when and if you have to open the cabover, i.e., tip it forward?
That's how you get to the engine compartment, isn't it? It looks like
everything inside would come rushing forward toward the windshield creating
a huge mess to clean up afterwards. Maybe I'm not getting the picture right,
and that's why I'm asking.
