The next big question is does adding oxygenates really do any good? I have
my doubts. I suspect if they looked at the total work done vs. the amount
of pollution produced with normal gasoline vs. oxygenated fuel they would
probably find not much difference as to keep the car going at the same speed
you need to burn more of the stuff. I believe that this is directly
proportional to the mileage reduction burning oxygenated fuel.
