NJ Rt 52 upgrades completed

The Phila Inqr had a detailed article describing improvements to this
highway to the shore resorts.

I believe this road previously was a privately owned facility, and a
few years ago the owner had it in miserable condition and unable to
fix it up. The state then took it over.
