which probably means different source data for different zooms...
what a job somebody has in trying to keep these critters up to date.
every different source will have a different update cycle - so at the
macro level - you're having to choose when and how you'd do periodic
refresh of the innumerable sources.
I was thinking the same thing. Also handling the job moving from one source to the other while staying in the same place while zooming. And how many pieces comprise the entirety of the country at different zoom levels. Actually quite amazing when you start to think about it in comparison to paper folding maps.
