Google is offering me two possibilities between Jackson to Harrison.
The routes are the same to the junction of US-67 and US-160, 10
miles southwest of Poplar Bluff. From there, the northern route
follows US-160 to Alton, MO-19 to the state line, AR-9 to Salem.
The southern route follows US-67 to Corning, US-62 to Salem. Both
routes follow US-62 from Salem to Harrison.
All I can offer is that US 62 is generally a pleasant drive across
northern Arkansas, and I think improvements have been made in places
since I was across that route in 2001.
If you take 62 take 62B through Cotter so you can see the old rainbow arch
bridge.
