Love the subheading of the article "vehicular weirdness".

Strange that this occurred in my former home town as the stations
there are known to be rip off artists, always 20 cents higher than any
where else.

Which goes to prove that stations will raise prices based upon the
time of day. Notice it had been $3.43 and the new price should have
been $3.49?
As a comparison, here in Vegas, RUNL is selling around $3.30 or so.
