There's a street in downtown Tulsa called "Heavy Traffic Way." It begins at
I-244/US 75, and runs sorta parallel to it, so I assume it was built when
the IDL was built. Where did it get its strange name? There are many
trafficways in Kansas City but this is the only one in the Tulsa area that
I'm familiar with.
Any more stupid street names?
Lomita, CA (between LAX and Long Beach) has a short street in a bland
part of town called Bland Place.
I vote for any of the "lettered" county highways in Ramsey County, MN.
They're legit numbered highways, but the street names are letters, ie
Highway C.
