And even if the levees were blown up how do we know it wasn't some left wing Bush hater out there doing it so they could blame Bush, play the victim card, and keep Bush hating nicely fueled? It would seem like that scenario has played out rather well, and is far more likely.

Apparently there was a known weak spot at one of the gates that are to
be closed to keep out Lake Ponchatrain when waters are high and the
Norfolk Southern and some government entity were wrangling over who
would pay to fix it. This is a brief and version of what I recall
from a Wall Street Journal article on what caused the flooding in the
9th Parish. The detail showed there was a lot of blame to go around
and that the responsibility for levees was spread all over the place.
Such things as the levee commission diverting levee money to other
government uses.


I agree 1000% Clark. Plenty of blame to go around. But the Bush out there in a rowboat blowing up levees cuz he hates black people is absurd.

But you never did see the blowing up levees bit renounced by those who proclaimed it the loudest. And people still buy in to it.
