It hasn't been posted in this newsgroup yet, but I've heard that a couple of MTR
participants are getting married to each other in the near future.
One of the participants is a fairly frequent poster and has a transportation Web
site; the other is an infrequent poster and is mainly a lurker who normally
posts only to reply to one of his fiance's postings.
The recent court decision in California legalizing gay marriages made this
betrothal possible and I hear that the happy couple recently applied for their
marriage license.
I know we have our own little squabbles and disagreements here on MTR
occasionally, but times like these are when we should put aside our differences
and come together to wish the happy couple a blessed marriage.
I hope the rest of you good MTR denizens will join me in offering heartfelt
congrats to the engaged pair and will extend wishes for a blissful and long and
healthy marriage.
Shall we send flowers? Lilacs and lavender?
