Which is exactly what I do. My wife doesn't want to cause me to have a wreck so
if I tell her I'm in traffic or something, she'll tell me to call back when it's
safe to do so.
I understand that driving is a privilege granted by the state and the state can
put whatever limitations it wants on said privilege, including requiring seat
belt usage or a minimum age or amount of driver's training. I just don't happen
to agree with the limitation involving cell phones.
It's just another example of "lowest common demonimator" government. Because a
few people have problems we have to cater to them at the expense of everyone
else.
